Space Coast Esports April 2021
We now enter the 2nd quarter of 2021, April. Spring is certainly here with thunderstorms and turtles swimming up the shores. Put down that controller, grab some sunglasses and enjoy some of the Florida weather.
Florida Tech welcomes Dana Hustedt as new Director of Esports. First order of operations for Dana has been to transform the previous Art building into the Panthers new gaming center. Fitted out with "36 advanced gaming stations and overhaul the interior", this is a huge step for FIT and Melbourne. We definitely can't wait to see what Dana and the Panthers can do and are here to support.
Last month we kicked off our Brevard Call of Duty League registration. Free to all, residents and friends alike. This league is to be played online with a tournament at the end of 6 weeks. With a few days left, grab your buddies and sign up. We encourage all skill levels to participate. In the future we plan on hosting leagues for Rocket League and FIFA 21. More on 321 Gaming Leagues in the coming months.
Every month, every week, we are streaming on Twitch and Facebook Gaming. Often we talk about anything we have come across in Brevard and gaming. Each month of this year we have been switching up our stream schedule. April is no exception; stream days are now Sunday and Tuesday. We would love to see you come by the stream and say hi or ask us anything.
Be sure to stop by our Calendar for updated gaming events in Brevard.
